After graduating from SUNY Albany with a degree in Human Biology, James Joseph decided to pursue his cosmetology license at Orlo School of Hair Design. Within five years he obtained his dream of opening his own salon in August of 2009 in the ever evolving area of Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs. In August 2016, seven years later, James Joseph opened Epiphany North, in Glens Falls.

Owner and Master Hair Designer James Joseph first began to advance his training as a Redken Specialist. He has seen great success due to understanding the importance of being a friendly competitor in an industry that requires constant change and updated education. His passion extends through other strengths such as make-up application and formal hair. After taking a plethora of advanced classes with aspired educators such as Nick Arrojo (stylist from hit T.V. show "What Not To Wear") and Tisha Hall (celebrity stylist and Redken Educator) he continues to become a separate entity, pushing the limits of hair design. His experience also includes performing as a Platform Artist for Cosmogirl and Garnier Fructis. More recently James Joseph has become a reputable texture specialist with inspired DevaCurl training and a focus on L’ANZA healing color correction and application.
